Hours: Fort Osage is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. year round.
Closed Dates: May 8, June 19, July 4, November 11, November 27-28; December 25-26; January

Admission Fees: Adults: $8.00, Seniors (62 and over): $4.00, Youth (5-13): $4.00, Anyone under 5 is free.
Fort Osage has been partially reconstructed, and it is currently a park owned and operated by Jackson County Parks + Rec.

  • Non-commercial photography is welcomed.
  • Commercial photographers must comply with all guidelines and apply for a photo permit through the Registration Office—call (816) 503-4800 for information.
