Congratulations to David Bennett on receiving the 2019 Jackson County Parks + Rec Department’s Outstanding Service Award! David spends a lot of time organizing the War of 1812 events at Fort Osage. He also portrays Captain Eli Clemson with the 1st U. States Infantry Living History Organization.
The award was presented to David by Sarah Gauld, Superintendent of Jackson County Parks +Rec Historic Sites Division, at the Jackson County Parks + Rec Volunteer Awards dinner.
